Tops Markets has a strong foundation of valuing associates and we believe that our associates are our greatest asset. To that point, we promote the equitable treatment of all associates by promoting diversity awareness. Our ALANA Resource Group (ALANA stands for African-American, Latino-Hispanic, Asian/Pacific Islander, Native American, and Alaskan) consists of a group of diverse associates who meet on a regular basis. The ALANA team networks with each other and with other associates within the business to foster open and honest communication, challenge the status quo, create new processes and winning ideas, and commit to the equitable and fair treatment of all associates. Many Tops Markets locations have also recruited physically challenged associates. We have experts in the field of customer service, some of whom are visually or hearing impaired. These individuals never waver on the job.

We know that future sales will come from an increasingly diverse population, and we have experts in our merchandising and marketing department who procure items for specific stores based on the local population’s needs. As always, we are committed to giving you, our valued customer, what you want, when you want it, at a great price.
