Here's How it Works:
Sign Up
• easyShop is only available to BONUSCARD customers.
• Complete a short application at the easyShop registration desk or visit the Customer Service Center.
Pick Up Scanner & Bags
• Scan your BONUSCARD at the easyShop Station.
• The scanner rack will light up, identifying which hand-held scanner to use.
• Take the scanner and some plastic bags.
• Place the plastic bags on the rack inside the cart and begin shopping.
Shop
• Select an item and scan the barcode.
• After scanning the item, place it in the bag and continue shopping.
Special Care Items
Produce: Most produce items can be scanned after printing a label at the easyWeigh scales in the Produce Department. For items that are sold individually, like cantaloupes, lemons or bunches of parsley, simply scan the barcode on the sign by each product. For items that are pre-packaged, like bags of apples or containers of cherry tomatoes, just scan the barcode on the product.
Bakery: For baked goods that are sold individually, like donuts and bagels, scan the easyShop barcode on the appropriate sign in the Bakery Department.
Floral: For all floral items, scan the easyShop barcode on the sign by the arrangement or flowers you have selected.
Bulk Coffee: Weigh your bulk coffee at the easyWeigh scale, then scan the printed label.
To remove an item:
• Press the minus (-) button and rescan the item.
• The item will be removed from the scanner and the total will be adjusted.
Pay & Go
• When finished shopping, proceed to the easyShop self-checkout.
• Scan the "End of Order" barcode at the easyShop checkout area.
• Place the hand-held scanner in the return rack at checkout.
• Press the Start button and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your transaction.
• If selected for a random audit, please wait for the Attendant.
Random Audits
• The easyShop system will randomly select orders for review. These reviews ensure
system accuracy and that all items have been properly scanned only one time.
• Notification of an audit will appear on the checkout screen.
• If selected, an Attendant will assist you.
• During an audit, the Attendant will help you check out quickly by re-scanning and re-bagging your items.
• By signing the easyShop application, you agree to allow GIANT to randomly audit your order or the order of anyone in your household associated with your BONUSCARD number.
• You also agree to scan each and every item you intend to purchase. For any item that will not scan, you agree to separate and identify those items and bring them to the attention of the Attendant.
Terms and Conditions
• GIANT’S easyShop is ONLY available to customers with a BONUSCARD.
• Customers purchasing age-restricted items are subject to identification verification at checkout.
